Over the last few months we have been brain storming ideas on how to widen our reach since we all realize that Latin@ alums are not just located in the New York City area. We came up with the idea that we should live stream our events at the Lubin House. The last few events we’ve had there have been really informative to all who attended but what if would extend our reach to all Alumni who couldn’t be there?
With that being said, we are still new to this. Our first broadcast will be live tomorrow night for Money Talks: A Crash Course & Panel Discussion and we hope that you will all join us for this historic event. Make sure you to bookmark our Channel on UStream for future events.
In the meantime, for those of you are able to make it to the Lubin House, please make sure you RSVP on Facebook. As usual, food and beverages will be served.
See you mañana!
I wanted to personally take some time out to thank all the alumni who made 2013 a complete sucess for LANSU. There were many goals I had set for us to make and we did a great job with programs and alumni profiles. More importantly, we could not have done any of this without any of you.
Please be on the look out for more programming in 2014. The executive board is always looking to do new things as well as sticking with what works. I am very proud of my first year as President and I hope to make 2014 an even better experience for our Latino alumni.
We wish you a fun and safe New Year. Go Orange!
We had a great night at Uptown Social with drinks, food, and music celebrating Latino Heritage Month and our alums. Thank you to all those who came out and made this event a success!
Big Thanks to Tony Martinez, Claribel Almonte, & Eugene Abreu for helping me put this all together. HUGE Thanks to Hennessy for providing the spirits!
Music was provided DJ Tabu!

Networking in the Digital Age is a panel discussion that will explore how we can become better networkers in an era where face to face interaction is being replaced with social media sites. Our panel of networking experts and entrepreneurs will share insights on how networking has made them successful in their careers and how they use online media to make connections.
Moderated by Emmelie De La Cruz, personal branding consultant, these industry leaders will discuss their unique experiences with social media and networking: from leaning on and learning from mentors, to establishing their social media presence and successfully growing their companies. Tony Martinez, Rafael Balbi and Claudia Mora will give us the unique perspective of leaning on our connections to grow both personally and professionally.
Please join us on Thursday, October 17th, 6pm at the Lubin House. Food will be provided by the Office of Program Development.
